Built from decades at the repair bench
At the heart of Mavis & Mae is a woman whose life has been shaped by fine jewelry. She is a lifelong collector of antique and vintage pieces, with a particular fondness for Sherman costume jewelry, and a deep respect for anything made with care, quality, and craftsmanship.
She is also a repair specialist: hard-working, determined, and meticulous. After decades restoring cherished pieces, there are very few repairs she cannot do. She has an eye for spotting rare treasures, and an even deeper appreciation for preservation and thoughtful restoration.

Mavis & Mae is the culmination of two generations working together. One brings deep jewelry knowledge, designer history, and years of hands-on restoration. The other brings the technical skill to share these pieces with people who value the same things.
Together, they built Mavis & Mae on integrity, authenticity, transparency, and a shared appreciation for beautiful old things: vintage costume jewelry, fine antique pieces, watches, china, and meaningful accessories with stories still left to tell.
